What's it all about?
Heiðrún Heim Estate is an "off grid" eco-farm in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We have an Apiary onsite and are nestled amongst the rainforest.
We produce naturally organic (without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers) medicinal type herbs, farm produce, honey and various other farm house products. All of our products are hand-crafted from seasonally available ingredients and our fresh produce is picked last minute to optimize the nutritional value and freshness.
We deliver Educational programs on Sustainability, Home food production and traditional Homesteading skills.
Additional to our own products, we represent a group of Local Bee keepers, Growers and Artisans via the Gro-Op. The Gro-Op (Growing - Opportunities) supports other local small producers offering a collaborative approach to marketing and public awareness of available Local products.
Heiðrún Heim Estate supports low income families, people with disabilities and young people, by distributing donated seeds and providing a place for individuals to swap and trade their home grown produce.
